Today in our workshop Katie highlighted the importance of lighting diagrams and using them to recreate a set up precisely and easily at another point in time, maybe even months later when I would have forgotten how it was done successfully.
This is a very useful way of recreating similar shoots as well and is a great timesaver when I know what I'm doing rather than figuring out what I did by trail and error.

She showed us her basic key for when drawing a lighting diagram and urged us to create our own, below is the key which I have created for this and all future lighting diagrams:
