I really like Ed Ruscha's photography, and his typography style, but the lack of colour I always found quite boring and although I could appreciate his compositional style, the images didn't do much for me. I find his compositional style similar to Edward Hopper, very considered and structured.

I love the colour of his paintings, and the geometric aspect all the main shapes are so straight. The use of leading lines in all of the images take you to across the canvas, I also really like the colour palettes of all three, the bold colours of the first and last, with crisp blue sky, but also the muted purple but still a pop of yellow.
